Be easy to find.
Worth citing.
Search visibility now has two audiences: people typing into Google, and people asking an AI assistant what to buy. Sugary Citrus builds the foundations both need, which means pages that are crawlable and indexed, answers written where an engine can lift them, statistics and sources that make a claim quotable, and brand facts that stay identical across your site, marketplaces and third-party coverage.
Book a scoping callWho this is for
Best fit: D2C brands with a site they own, a product range with real search demand, and the patience for a two to four month feedback loop. Brands tired of paying for every order and wanting a slower, compounding channel.
Not a fit: brands expecting rankings or AI citations in weeks, or sites that cannot be edited without a six-week dev queue.
What the work includes
We treat SEO, AEO and GEO as three layers of one system rather than three separate projects.
- SEO layer: technical health, crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, title and meta work, and intent-led content.
- AEO layer: an answer-first opening of 40 to 80 words on every important page, question-shaped headings, definitions, comparison tables and FAQs written for real objections.
- GEO layer: statistics, named sources and dates inside content, consistent entity facts across the web, and earned mentions on the domains AI engines already cite in your category.
- LLM readiness: clean robots.txt, an up-to-date llms.txt, server-rendered HTML rather than JavaScript-only content, and structured data that matches what the page actually says.
- Measurement: search console trends, share of mentions in AI answers for a fixed prompt set, and assisted conversions.
Why answer-first content matters
AI answers are assembled from passages, not pages. If your first paragraph is brand poetry and the actual answer appears in paragraph nine, the extractable version of your answer will come from a competitor. Every important page we work on opens with a plain, self-contained answer, then earns the right to expand.
How the work runs
Month one is an audit: crawl, index and schema review, a prompt and citation baseline, and a prioritised plan. Months two to four are delivery: technical fixes, page rewrites, new comparison and explainer content, and outreach for a small number of earned mentions. Every month you get a written report showing what changed and what the numbers did.
What it costs
Search and AI visibility retainers usually sit between Rs 45,000 and Rs 1,20,000 a month, depending on site size, content volume and how much of the writing we do. A one-off technical audit is quoted separately.
What we will not promise
No guaranteed rankings, no guaranteed AI citations, no traffic targets pulled from thin air. Google's own guidance says optimising for AI search is still SEO, and that a page must be indexed and eligible for a snippet before any AI feature can use it. We work on eligibility, clarity and credibility, and we report honestly on what moved.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO makes a page crawlable, indexed and relevant. AEO makes it easy to extract a direct answer. GEO makes the brand and its facts quotable across the wider web, which is what AI assistants synthesise from.
Does FAQ schema still help?
It helps when the FAQs are visible on the page and answer real objections. Schema confirms visible content; it cannot rescue a page that says nothing useful.
How do we know if AI engines mention us?
We run a fixed set of buyer prompts across the major assistants every month and record whether you are named, which domains are cited and how you are described. That share-of-mentions number is the leading indicator.
Should we worry about AI crawlers reading our site?
Yes, if your content only appears after JavaScript runs. Many crawlers do not execute scripts reliably, so server-rendered HTML is the safer default.
Can you work with our developer?
Yes. We write implementation notes with exact changes so your team can ship them, or we work directly in the codebase if you prefer.
